When I was about 6/7 years old, I came home from the hairdresser’s place crying… I mean wailing like I just lost a puppy. Why? My hairdo was too tight… I almost couldn’t think. It was the famous thread or Kiko hairstyle which we all hated but were forced to do when we were younger. My dad asked what was wrong with me and I told him it was the hair. The thread was too tight around the hair. Being a good dad, he told me to get scissors so he could help me take out the thread. I happily found a razor blade instead. My dear father then proceeded to take out the hairstyle by cutting the thread off… what was unknown to me was that he cut off all the hair threaded with my hair. I was just happy to be relieved.
