I had a valentines day gift post scheduled to publish today but unfortunately i want in the mood to edit any post about valentine gifts. Fortunately, i remembered that there was a time i use to write hilarious posts about my experiences just for fun. I am way put together now but i used to be an awkward, clumsy person. I was always in some unfortunate situation and I hated it so much.. But looking back now.. these situations make for the best stories. So for this valentine day, I have decided to resurrect one i really liked. I initially wrote the story on Naija Single Girls blog and on this blog again in 2018 . PS: If you cant stand grammatical errors then don’t bother clicking. I tried to keep the post as similar as possible to the original, but i included more context and some new opinions in…

I work from home a lot… My room is my workspace. While this might seem like the dream seeing as I get to avoid Lagos roads and traffic, and work flexibly, it’s also the worst arrangement as power supply is erratic in Nigeria, and generators are noisy and I almost can’t resist a well laid bed so I am tempted to sleep off or I get distracted by something else at home. I’ve found out that you can work from almost anywhere in Lagos if you really have no choice… In traffic, KFC and even mama put. Deals can be closed anywhere especially when you are the one receiving the money… don’t let anyone deceive you.  Noise: what noise? I was craving puffpuff for a week. I went to Shoprite and bought all the ingredient required.. Flour and Yeast dassall.. I got home mixed everything and waited.. Puffpuff dinnor rise o.. Tried again the next day.. I still didn’t rise. I went on YouTube, followed Sisiyemmie and 9ja foodie.. Puffpuff Still dinnor rise. As I am talking to you… Puffpuff still no gree rise. No puffpuff batter has risen in one week and my flour has finished. While this was happening I was lamenting to my friend who got tired of my Wahala, came to my house and carried me to look for puffpuff… We found puffpuff after 2 busses and 1 kekenapep (tricycle) to Mushin. We spent almost an hour back home because police stopped our bus to search 1 man and there was traffic… On a Sunday Night. Now body has rested. No relevance to my story…

I am currently reading NSGs book and even though i am on page 15, I started getting some funny flashbacks… NSG IS Naija Single Girl and her book is called 29,single and Nigerian. Which is an hilarious book btw. The first chapter of the book is about NYSC which made me remember a post I wrote about my first day in NYSC camp at Akwa Ibom state Nigeria. I literally had to dig this out from the archives of my old blog. which is almost 10 years old!!!! WAIT!!!! 10 YEARS OLD!!!!!! Whaaaaaaatt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol  yes I am shouting!!!! I have been writing and mostly stalking blogs for almost 10 years. My first blog was called BEWILDERED, my first post was published in February 2010 and if I remember correctly, I opened my blogger account in 2008 but just used it to comment on blogs.  I also had an active Tumblr…
