Ya’ll that are regular visitors to the blog know about how I shouted about the wonders of Piggybank and how it helped me save 1 million Naira. Heck, I even got featured on Linda Ikeji. If you have not seen the post, here it is. That was almost 3 years ago and I am back with an update post on Piggybank now called Piggyvest. Apart from the name change, they have gotten a lot more popular, credible and they do a lot more than just a piggybank. Here are some things you’ll want to know about the new Piggybank: PiggyBank is now called Piggyvest. Yea, I know.. Piggybank sounds a lot better than Piggyvest but who are we to complain. They had their resons as explained in this blog post.. They are no longer a small company. They got investors who have given them or at least pledged to give…

While its summer everywhere else, its raining cats, dogs and trailers in Lagos, Nigeria I do not like the rain. Especially In Lagos. Everywhere is grimy and muddy and everyone is angry. About the trailers, a group of people have decided to hold the whole of Lagos hostage by parking their trailers on the road permanently for no good reason.. There’s traffic gridlock everywhere and it seems like no one can do anything about it..  sigh If you have been following my blog… my content has been somehow and enthusiasm has been down for a bit. In fact all my blog posts in July were scheduled in May…  June and July have just been bleh!!! I had to find new reasons to blog as the reason why I started blogging initially stopped motivating me.. I also noticed that a lot of my fav bloggers also started getting demotivated to blog…

I got featured on Bellanaija!!!! Yay!! ok calm down.. this isn’t a big deal as I actually just submitted the post to them and they agreed to post it but I was really excited as something I wrote got to a wider audience and I got to tick one of my writing/Blogging goals. dances etigi I always wanted to do this but I just wasn’t confident enough in my writing to do it… like BN posting it wasn’t the issue but the dilemma was not just writing for writing sake but writing something sensible enough to actually put my name on and share with the world. I have 4 other articles I’ve guest written on other blogs and as soon as they are published (hopefully before the end of this year) ill share the links here… Lets see how it goes. https://www.bellanaija.com/2017/11/yewande-oyebo-poverty-tourism-slumming/ Heres the link to the article on BN…
